We start with a sealed, sweat-resistant rubber floor you can wipe down. Then we layer high-output ventilation — sized exhaust, fresh-air intake where possible, and a dedicated dehumidifier. The goal is a room you can ride in hard and clean in minutes, without damaging finishes.

Yes. We plan the viewing wall during design: wall-mounted display at the correct height, clean in-wall cable management, dedicated circuits for bike and display, and clear audio. For studios with multiple bikes we plan speakers, camera positions, and sightlines too.

Less than you'd think, when built right. Impact noise from the bike frame, music, and breathing all settle down with resilient flooring, insulated walls and ceiling, and a solid-core door. We target a room you can use early morning without waking anyone.

More than standard basement HVAC. We size the exhaust and intake based on room volume and occupancy, usually including a sized inline exhaust fan and a dedicated fresh-air path. The difference is obvious after five minutes of effort.

Sealed rubber rated for sweat and weight is ideal. It protects the slab, absorbs vibration, and cleans quickly. We specify the grade and thickness based on your equipment and whether you also do off-bike strength work in the same space.

Yes. Bergen Restoration is a licensed New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (NJHIC# 13VH08865500) and fully insured. Electrical, ventilation, and structural work all get permitted and inspected through the town.
