Do I need to rewire my entire house for smart home?

Not always. Most smart devices replace existing switches, thermostats, and fixtures one for one. Larger projects — whole-home audio, multi-zone lighting control, distributed video — benefit from structured low-voltage wiring, which we plan during renovation or retrofit through accessible walls.

Which smart home platforms do you support?

We work with the platforms our clients already use or want to standardize on: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Lutron Caséta and RadioRA, Control4, Sonos, Ring, Nest, Ecobee, and others. We help select the right system based on how your household actually uses tech.

Will the system still work if my internet goes down?

Local control matters. We design systems so core functions — lights, locks, climate, garage — keep working on your local network even if internet drops. Cloud-only features pause until connectivity returns, but your house keeps running.

Can you integrate devices I already own?

Yes, in most cases. Existing cameras, doorbells, thermostats, and speakers usually fold into a unified setup. We audit what you have, identify gaps, and recommend additions only where they meaningfully improve daily use.

Do you handle the wiring and electrical work?

Yes. Low-voltage wiring, network cabling, mounting, and configuration are handled in house. Line-voltage electrical work is coordinated with licensed electricians as part of the project, with permits pulled where required.

Do you offer support after the install?

Yes. We offer service plans for ongoing support — adding devices, updating firmware, troubleshooting, and onboarding new household members. Smart homes need a maintainer, not a one-time installer.
