Modern Open-Concept Kitchen
Complete kitchen gut renovation in Ridgewood. Removed a load-bearing wall to create an open-concept layout, installed custom shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a large center island with seating for four.

The Story
This 1960s colonial had a closed-off galley kitchen that felt disconnected from the living space. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room (installing a concealed steel beam), added recessed lighting, and installed luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout for a seamless transition. The homeowners chose white shaker cabinets with brass hardware, a waterfall-edge quartz island, and a marble-look ceramic backsplash.
Full gut renovation including cabinet replacement, countertop installation, backsplash, plumbing relocation, electrical upgrades, and new flooring
Custom white shaker cabinets, quartz waterfall island, ceramic subway backsplash, engineered hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances
Load-bearing wall between kitchen and dining room required a concealed steel beam to open the floor plan
